Chocolate Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
This was a delicious recipe and easy to make. I read a lot of the other reviews and incorporated advice from many and substituted ingredients when I didn't have something. That said, the following may help others. 1. I used chocolate milk instead of buttermilk and used the chocolate milk in place of the coffee. 2. I baked the pound cake at 300 for about 2 hours (not sure if my oven doesn't work well at low temps, but it was completely gooey when I checked it at 70 minutes). Other than those two things, I didn't change a thing and I thought the cake was delicious, very moist, and a slight crunch to the top of the pound cake-like most pound cakes I have eaten.

Bulgogi (Korean Barbecued Beef)

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2006
This was a pretty good recipe, I marinated mine for about 10 hours. I did add a little extra vinegar like some of the other reviewers had recommended but the recipe was still lacking something. If I were to make this again, I would use the thinly sliced bulgogi meat that can be found in Asian markets.

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
This is a good recipe. I used a sirloin tip roast (on sale) and cooked mine in the crockpot all day. I saw other reviews that said to add liquid (such as beef broth) in order to cook it in the crockpot. Instead of using beef broth/stock, I used about a half cup of salsa. Thanks for the recipe.

Cuban Black Beans I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
This recipe is full of flavor. I have made this recipe as a side dish and as a filling for black bean burritos.

Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
This is a good recipe. I followed the directions for marinating and instead of grilling, baked in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. I would definitely make this again. Thanks!
