Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
These are delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, but ended up with 13 muffins filled almost to the top of each cup. My kids have been enjoying them in their lunches.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Even my kids love this burger and they hate burger nights. I substituted panko bread crumbs for the saltines to cut the sodium content. Super moist and just right!

Easy and Quick Cream Cheese Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
These are delicious! I used regular sized red potatoes (about 7-8) since they are less expensive than the petite and cut them into eight pieces. I served them at our family Christmas dinner and again at a pot luck with teenagers and both times they were a hit.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
This cake was good, but not the best. It was not moist enough for my liking. Next time I think I will take it out of the oven a few minutes sooner and see if that changes anything.

Mint Buttercream Frosting With Dark Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
I made just the frosting, not the glaze to go on some cupcakes I made. I thought the flavor was delicious!

Amy's Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
1 tbsp red pepper flakes was waaaaay too spicy for my kids' taste. I switched to whole wheat ritz crackers. I will try this again, but with less red pepper.

My friend introduced me to these yummy little delights last Christmas and I fell in love. I like to use mint oreos when I make them. They always turn out many compliments and requests for more!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
This frosting is to die for! I used butter flavored shortening which gave it an ivory tint, but it was so good! There was so much leftover from frosting my cake that I left it in the fridge and my hubby used it to top some cookies with.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
These were delecious! I used whole wheat flour instead and they still came out moist and fluffy. I did not have any cream of tartar available and was happy to see another reviewers suggestion of vinegar in lue of it. My baking soda did not fizzle, but they still turned out.

Grocery Store Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Don't tell my Nonna this, but your frosting is the best I have ever had. I made it last night for my hubby's welcome home cake and everyone fell in love with the taste. It made enough to generously frost two 9x13in sheet cakes. I used butter flavored shortening. Next time I will use clear vanilla extract to keep the frosting a whiter color. Mine came out ivory.

Grilled Bruschetta Chicken

This was really simple to make and turned out well. Next time I will use a little less basil though as it was too strong for my taste.

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
This was fantastic! I used the regular flour directions and it turned out great! I had to keep adding a little milk at a time to get the dough moist enough, but that was my only problem. Very simple recipe and delicious outcome. My guests said it was the best they had ever had!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I did not like this recipe with worchesterchire sauce or onion. This was not very good. A salad with strawberries should be sweet, not bold.
