Chinese-Style Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
I just didn't like it. Seemed like the vinegar and sesame oil were very over powering. I was really hoping to love this.

Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
Was good, but could have used some seasonings. I added garlic, garlic salt and more salt and pepper. The peel on the zucchini would have kept it from getting mushy.

This was great, used canned tomatoes because that is all I had. I loved the tomato mixture. Served over rice. Yum.

Brownie Batter + Cupcake = The SECOND BEST Cupcake. Ever

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
Made as instructed and these are devine! I had a lot of the brownie batter left over so I just popped those in the oven for regular brownies. Frosted with the Fluffy PB Frosting from this site as well and they are great!!

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
WOW! This is great stuff. I used a crockpot so that I could put it in before work and have it done after. I added 2 c water to my crock with 2 chicken bouillon cubes as well as a couple T of apple cider vinegar. I added cumin as one reviewer did. It was the best pork taco I ever had! Thanks so much for the recipe.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
After my husbands first bite he said this is "a make again". That is when I know I have done well and made something he likes. He is usually our cook. This recipe is awesome, definitely not a diet food. I loved this. Only change was half the sausage and chicken so it was about one lb of meat total. Great, thank you!

Best Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
Very much enjoyed this recipe. My DH loved the "explosions of flavor" as he referred to the broccoli pieces. I also used about one stem of the broccoli as it has so many nutrients as well and it is just as edible. I couldn't find either of the knorr potato soup or cauliflower soup, so I bought a bag of potato soup and just added about 4 T to the mixture to make it thick. Next time will use Velveeta instead of grated cheddar for more creaminess. Loved this recipe! Thanks. Oh, and very easy..hardest part is cutting up the broccoli!

Chicken Enchilada Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
I really enjoyed this soup, and I did make some changes. Didn't know how big the tortillas were based on the recipe, so I bought the medium sized ones and cut up 3 of them for the base with the stock. Used 2c. chix stock, and used both cans of enchilada sauce. Very thing and very good!

Mexican Sour Cream Rice

I absolutely loved this rice recipe. Had all items on hand except for the green chilis so I cut up some jalapenos from the jar. It was really really good.

Zucchini Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
I adore this recipe. I added some garlic salt and oregano to the ricotta mixture and also added one small summer squash because I have a ton on hand. I love this and will be using up my zucchinis and summer squash on this recipe for years to come. Thanks!

Three Cheese Green Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
I substitued munster cheese for the swiss cheese, otherwise made the same as the recipe. It seemed that the pepper (1T) was way too much for the dressing. That is all I could taste in the dressing, and I like pepper normally but it was too much for me. The dressing could also be cut down dramatically, there was a lot left over and too much peper to enjoy at another time.

I really loved this recipe. Didn't add carrots because I didn't have them, added napa cabbage and rooster sauce because that is what I had. It was VERY spicey, and I LOVE spicey so I was thrilled with this new recipe. will make again! thanks for the recipe.

Mediterranean Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
Great recipe for salmon. I used white balsamic because I like it better. Next time I would use less vinegar, I tend to over-do the vinegar in recipes and it becomes very potent. I love fresh cilantro and basil and this was a great combo of the two! Thanks for the recipe.

Garlic Bread Fantastique

This was awesome. I didn't have sage, so I omitted it. This is the best garlic bread, and it is very much like restaurant style. Way better than the frozen stuff at the store.

Apple Bacon Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
I think this is a good recipe. Smelled good while the apples were simmering as others had said. I didn't give it 5 stars because I didn't think it was all that dynamite. It was definately good, but it tasted like a good veggie soup (with bacon!). It is nice for fall.
