J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
I made this in a pinch because I didn't have refridgerated biscuits. Never again will I buy refridgerated biscuits! This was so easy, simple, quick and DELICIOUS!

Swedish Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
It's pretty good. I used egg and a little milk to bind together the meat, rather than evaporated milk. I also didn't have allspice, so used cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves like someone else suggested.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
YUM! They are very tasty. They're fairly easy to make, but make sure you do follow the instructions when it comes to letting the batter drip off the onions. This is important. VERY GOOD!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
I really liked it. So did my husband. We're not wine drinkers, so I substituted chicken stock. It was wonderful.

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
Pretty good overall. Very easy to make. The flavor could have been better, but was still there and not horrible. My guests loved these! Especially the men.

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
eh, not the best chicken I've ever made, but it wasn't horrible. I recommend taking the chicken out of the skillet BEFORE adding the sauce, so that the breading doesn't become soggy. I also recommend low sodium bouillon, or chicken broth instead. It was a little on the salty side for me, and I like salt.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
Like a previous comment, it tasted like pizza on bread. It wasn't horrible tasting, but I'd buy frozen pizza before making this one again. Good pizza takes time.

Tempting Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2006
So good but very rich. For the coating, I used almonds the first time and peanuts the second time. I thought the peanuts evened out the richness some. Also, these need quite a bit of time to set up before you can roll them. It says 2 hours, I say give it a little more time. And then after rolling them in the nuts let them set up over night.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
This was wonderful! We used 3 thicker pork chops (about 1 - 1/2 inch thick). Following the recipe as it is, is perfect. We'll definitely make it again. It's a good way to change up pork, without using condensed canned soups.

Peanut Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
The cider vinegar does not work in this recipe. Also, it needs more spice. Something is just off about it. I'll eat it because I made it, but I won't make it again.

Mongolian Beef I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2006
Not bad! Definitely easy and quick to make for those nights when you don't feel like driving to pick up your chinese food. This will be a good side dish for when we make eggrolls.

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2006
The chicken was delicious! I think the gravey is really good, but I did not like all the spices in the gravey. I think using just flour w/o the spices (other than salt & pepper) would make the gravey much better.

I think the spices in this are perfect! We ate the 3 loaves in a week! YUM! I'll definitely be making this during the holidays for co-workers and friends.

This recipe is really good! I did change the water to chicken stock for added flavor and I liked it that way. I'll definitely make it again. YUM!

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2006
This is wonderful! I think it needs to be thickened up with a very small amount of cornstarch. It would also be good if some chopped celery was added to it. YUM!

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
These were so easy and yummy. Cleanup was easy as well. I agree that maybe some seasame seeds and red pepper flakes would be good, especially the red pepper flakes. Some spice would have been nice to balance out the sweet flavor of the wings.
