I started intensely cooking in college out of sheer boredom. Forced my roommate to be my guinea pig. Since then, I've started consistently cooking for friends and family. I cook by taste and sight, never using measuring utensils. I like to use Allrecipes.com com as a reference, I don't follow recipes, but rather I use this site to gauge people's preference for flavor combinations.

I prefer to live a healthy lifestyle. I do not use any pre-made products riddled with preservatives and chemicals. Shortcuts in cooking are shortcuts in taste. Plus, don't you feel so much better when you know EXACTLY what is in your food?
