I wanted to give this recipe 5 stars because my dish turned out so well, but decided on 4 stars because I put my own spin on it that made it 5. Firstly, I doubled the recipe because I was cooking for a crowd. I then added an additional pound of pasta for a total of 2 lbs. I added a cubed 2lb. block of velveeta when I added the other cheeses. Do not be afraid of adding the cottage cheese. It blends in seamlessly. Also, I would recommend adding the sharp and velveeta when the pasta is hot and fold until nearly all melted and then add the remaining ingredients. It was sheer perfection and everyone went nuts! I really appreciate the recipe, because it is a wonderful base to build on.
