Pizza Dough I

Perfect! Wasn't to thin or to thick. Soft and chewy on the inside and slightly crispy and chewy on the outside. Family raved about it. Made exactly as written, thanks!

Black Magic Cake

Excellent! Super moist and full of flavor. I used real butter in place of the oil. I had no problems whatsoever with the cake sticking, I used canola spray in the bottom of the pan. The husband was raving and that don't happen often as he's not much on cake! I will definitely make this again and again, thank you!

Teena's Overnight Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

I am a biscuit lover who for the life of me has never been able to make a biscuit. Until tonight, these are awesome! Like others I do not keep self rising flour on hand so I mixed up the self rising flour from AR, works great! I also used butter flavor crisco sticks and made my own buttermilk, I do 1 Tbsp. vinegar to 1 cup whole milk. I refrigerated the dough for 4 hrs. These were mile high, flaky and moist, just pure yum! A huge hit with the hubby and son, which is a plus! No need to look further for a great biscuit recipe, I have found my go to with this one, thanks so much!

One and a Half Minute Cookies

It's so many of my family and friends favorite cookie. One key is to make sure the mixture is at a full rolling boil before you begin your time, otherwise they can either end up gooey or crumbly and using real butter helps. Make these with the exact ingredients stated and directions given and you will have a great cookie every time. Thanks again!!!

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing

For the longest time I wouldn't even make cakes because I dis-liked store bought icing and couldn't find a home made recipe I liked. Well, I found it and I wouldn't change a thing about the recipe. It is one of those that I could just eat it all out of the bowl recipes! Thank You

Cheeseburger Soup I

BLT Macaroni Salad

No offense to Betty Crocker but I will never buy a box of ranch bacon salad again, this totally replaces it! A few family members don't like celery so I added 1/2 tsp of celery seed. I refrigerated it for about 4 or 5 hrs before serving. This definitely allowed the flavors to blend and the mixture to thicken. I cannot repeat how my husband felt about this, not quite PG, what I can say is he requested it "all the time"! A winner, thank you!

Banana Oat Muffins

Wow, these are simply delicious. Just took them out of the oven about 45 min ago. So moist and tasty. The only thing I did was leave out the nuts. Mine came out with huge caps on them, yummo!! Cooked them for exactly 25 min., no need to change anything as they are perfect as written. Definitely a keeper.

Mini Cheesecakes

If a cheesecake is over-baked it cracks. A properly cooked cheesecake, even these mini ones should still be wiggly in the middle when it is done, it has to have time to set up. They look underdone but they are not. I cooked these exactly as written, my oven though takes 18 min., at that time I turned off the heat and opened the oven door and let them finish for 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. This is how I cook all of my cheesecake recipes! I do believe that they could have been transferred to a rack to cool and set up fine. Then I transferred to the fridge over night and they set up beautifully, no cracks or indents. These are delicious and can be topped so many different ways. I got exactly 12 out of this. Absolutely Best Brownies

Made these the other night while having a chocolate craving, didn't want a big batch so I chose these. I was out of butter so I used butter flavored Crisco. Mine turned out fudgy, with that nice crisp top. Very yummy!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Yum, Yum. I just melted the butter in the microwave in a big bowl and then proceeded with the rest of the ingredients as stated. I cooked mine in a 9 in cast iron skillet which only took 25 min in my oven. Moist, yummy and a very thick cornbread, thanks!

Corned Beef Hash

4 stars only because I altered a little, otherwise it would be 5. I bought a corned beef brisket at the store and cooked it in the crock pot and then diced it. I used a 14 oz. can of beef broth and it seemed to need it all. A little salt, pepper and garlic powder added as well and this was super delicious. A definite new recipe for me and my family.

Aunt Gail's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

I just finished baking these, fantastic. I'm not sure why everyone's are not looking like a lace cookie. Mine resembled the perfect lace cookie. Followed the recipe to a T, will use this recipe from here on out. Absolutely delicious.
