Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce

I gave this 5 stars even though I didn't thing it was outstanding. Now the sauce was outstanding and this made the dessert!!! I made this for x-mas, and everyone seemed to enjoy it, but I think I'll keep searching for another bread pudding. Please note that I used half a challah bread (10-12 oz), and it fit perfectly in the 9 x 13 pan.

Blueberry French Toast

I cut this recipe in half since there were only 2 of us, and made the following revisions. I've always used Challah Bread when it comes to French Toast (it makes the best). So I cut the loaf in half, weighed it, and it was 10 oz. I got 2 small pkg. of Blueberries (4.4 oz each), and I only used 4 eggs instead of the 6. I ALSO ADDED CHOPPED WALNUTS. This came out absolutely wonderful!!!! The only changes I would make next time is to make more sauce and add more walnuts!!!! And believe it or not, having a piece hot and the other luke warm - I much rathered the luke warm piece better. I just zapped the sauce in the mic to heat it up, but I found you could actually taste the flavors more when it sat for a little while!!!!

Super Moist Pumpkin Bread

Being from Boston, we would call this: SUPA Moist Pumpkin Bread, and it was!!!! I made this for Thanksgiving, and the texture was absolutely wonderful, and so wasn't the flavor!!!! Everyone who tried this for dessert gave it a 2 thumbs up!!! This is a definate keeper - Thank You Kevin !!!!

Pumpkin Crisp

Well, the boyfriend loved this, but I just thought it was OK. I guess it was the crust I wasn't fond of (to buttery). I did run out of sugar when making the topping (I was over his house) so it didn't come out crumbly. Since he enjoyed this more than me, I left the recipe with him!

English Muffin Bread

I've been making this bread for about a year now, and I love it because it's soooo easy! For those 1st time bread makers - you have to try this, it's impossible to fail !!! And for those other reviewers who said this bread doesn't taste like English Muffins . . . what do English Muffins really taste like ??? Everyone I've made this bread for as ranted and raved - Thanks Jo !!!

Nugget Pudding I

I can't see this dessert feeding 8 people . . . it made a nice toasty brown topping itself, but I remixed everything together again, and cooked it another 5-10 minutes. This is VERY EASY to make, and I tasted 1 spoonful before putting it back into the oven, which tasted very good. But I would definately give this a 2-Thumbs Down
