Old-Fashioned Italian Zucchini Fritters

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
Growing up we always had Fried Zucchini Sandwiches. This recipe would be so much easier if you sliced your zucchini after peeling the skins off. Dipping it in Flour, THEN dipping into your egg that has the basil, grated cheese, s&p and garlic powder and frying it up. You can also make Zucchini Parm like you make Chicken Parm. Bake this in an oven with sauce and grated/shredded cheese! Several meal variations when you cook it like this!

Breakfast Casserole III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
I made this last month w/out looking at the reviews (which I always do). So, needless to say, I made it as the directions read, and it came out ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Not only did my boyfriend & I enjoy this, but 2 of my neighbors who dropped in unexpectedly! Of course they have asked me for the recipe, which is why I'm back in here today. All four of us give this recipe the 5 star's!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I have a Cappachino/Espresso Machine which I haven't used in about 4 yrs, but I think I'll try using it for this recipe. I could make the coffee adding the vanilla and pumpkin spice. Then making the froth I would just use the milk and sugar. Then just adding the spice on top of the froth. Will have to play with this over the weekend and I'll give you an update. Sounds delish - can't wait!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I think AllRecipes should combine the Saved & Reviewed Totals with the Zucchini Bread IV here on this site. It's exactly the same (except for the walnuts 1/2c vs 1c). This other recipe has 16,588 Saved and 753 Reviews. Whatever the case may be V Monte & Kristin both have given AllRecipes an awesome Zucchini Bread Recipe that everyone loves (and the figures tell you that).

Banana Custard Scrunch

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
OK, so I'm back to eatting healthy again, and instead of ice cream at night I'm making this instead. It's very good and satisfying. I do buy Fat Free Yogurt and buy the pkg of FF/SF Vanilla Pudding and just add the powder to the yogurt. It's more solid/thick this way, but it's just a preference of what you like. AND, the BF has no idea it's a diet dessert/snack !!!!

Rum Swizzles

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
There's nothing more refreshing than having a drink in the summer time made from Pineapple & Orange Juice. I haven't made this yet, but I have been making drinks w/Ginger Beer. And ladies Ginger Beer also comes in Diet (no sugar). I believe the regular Ginger Beer is 26 or 27 grams of sugar. I'll update this review after I try this, but for now, I can taste this drink w/little wedges of oranges on the rim of the glass! Mmmmm

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
I hate to be the first reviewer especially when I thought this wasn't that good (an I hardly ever find anything on this site that isn't good). I hated my sausage being pale and didn't realize this until everything was cooked. Possibly using a Kilbasa would give you that more cooked color. I wouldn't waste my time doing this on the grill BUT would give it a try cooking it in the oven. At least the sausage would brown up being cooked in the oven. How many people out there enjoy a pale cooked sausage? No one! Everyone I know wants there sausages cooked and browned on the outside. Sorry, but maybe I'll write another review when this is cooked in the oven!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
My family has used this recipe since the 70's and it is absolutely delish!!! Of course you can use this on Chix Wings which come out just as good AND if you minus the honey, it's a wonderful marinade a Pork Tenderloin. Cook the Pork Tenderloin on low, it stays moist!!!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I tried this recipe because my BF loves Black Beans (I could take or leave them), but I absolutely LOVED this receipe. I wish I could have given this 10 stars, that's how good they were! Don't be squimish, give this a try, you'll be glad you did. Oh, I added a few more sprinkles of bread crumbs and they came out perfect!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
If this is the same Jo who submitted the English Muffin Bread, then I'll definately try this one. I do not use any other English Muffin Bread since trying Jo's - hopefully you are the same person, and this sounds delish!

Hoppin' John

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I have a similar receipe that I use, but the only difference is that I use SMOKED HAM HOCKS, which add's a major difference to the flavor AND I do cook my rice separately and just add whatever amount of rice I want with this dish (or just service the beans over the rice).

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
I didn't realize the recipe called for 2 lbs of dough; I had only bought 1 lb, but everything still came out fine. I made one long (log) calzone, and the top/middle was busting at the seams, but of course it didn't change the taste and just made it look that more appealing. I also added garlic powder to the filling but that would be optional to someone else.

Marzetti® Hawaiian Slaw

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
DELISH !!! I went with the dried fruits instead of the plan raisins and added a little bit more of the coconut. MAKE SURE YOU LET THIS SET IN YOUR FRIG - THE FLAVORS REALLY INTENSIFY !!! I had a bowl right after making this, and then waiting, this is how I know !!!!

Brie en Croute

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
I've been making this for over 10 years, and yes, it's always a hit! Because I like to have a table of several appertisers, I usually make this with the smaller triangle shaped Brie and using a 1/2 sheet of pastry. At times I havn't used the parsley, but just the sheet of dough.

Groovy Green Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
DELISH !!!! The only different thing I did was I used applesauce because I had it on hand instead of the 1/2 apple, then added a little milk because it was to thick drinking this from a staw. Got my greens picked the night before and got my yogurt & applesauce measured, so all I had to do was throw everything into my blender, and off to work I went !!!

Easy Red Beans and Rice

Had this for supper last night, and it was wonderful! The flavors were absolutely delicious! I made this with Polish Kilbasa, but will try this again using Turkey, hopefully the flavors will be the same, if not, I'll eat it and enjoy it the fattening way!!!!

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
I made this and I thought it was just OK. The BF doesn't care for Chix, but loved this because it was so moist, and would like to have this again. For all the trouble it took to prepare, I'd rather just throw the chix in the oven to roast the regular way (it still comes out moist that way too!)
