About this Cook
I didn't start cooking until I was 40 (divorced), so in the past 10 years, I have come a long way with my coooking skills . . . . thanks to All Recipes. During the holidays or just get-togethers at my home, I'm always asked where I got this recipe from and if they could have a copy. I've turned on SO many people onto this website, that I'm constantly being thanked !!!
My favorite things to cook
I have a Rib Recipe that you cook in the oven. My sister from Texas poo-poo'ed that . . . until she tried them. This is the only she makes them now. My Italian Favorite is Lasagna - the sauce doesn't take long, and the actual lasagna is so good and creamy, everyone enjoys it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Always cook for an army, you never know when someone is going to stop in !!
My cooking triumphs
Will have to think about this one . . .
My cooking tragedies
The only one I can think of right now is my marinated eggplant that you grill. As the oils were soaked up by the eggplant, I kept adding more Balsomic Vinegar & Oil, and they didn't grill right, and of course they were to vinegary !!!! Just Horrible !!!

Old-Fashioned Italian Zucchini Fritters
Growing up we always had Fried Zucchini Sandwiches. This recipe would be so much easier if you sliced your zucchini after peeling the skins off. Dipping it in Flour, THEN dipping into your egg that has the basil, grated cheese, s&p and garlic powder and frying it up. You can also make Zucchini Parm like you make Chicken Parm. Bake this in an oven with sauce and grated/shredded cheese! Several meal variations when you cook it like this!

Breakfast Casserole III
I made this last month w/out looking at the reviews (which I always do). So, needless to say, I made it as the directions read, and it came out ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Not only did my boyfriend & I enjoy this, but 2 of my neighbors who dropped in unexpectedly! Of course they have asked me for the recipe, which is why I'm back in here today. All four of us give this recipe the 5 star's!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte
I have a Cappachino/Espresso Machine which I haven't used in about 4 yrs, but I think I'll try using it for this recipe. I could make the coffee adding the vanilla and pumpkin spice. Then making the froth I would just use the milk and sugar. Then just adding the spice on top of the froth. Will have to play with this over the weekend and I'll give you an update. Sounds delish - can't wait!
