About this Cook
My husband and I both work full time and I have a long commute which means we don't have a lot of time to cook dinner.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, brownies, cookies really anything chocolate...I also like to try different appetizers for happy hour with friends at my house. I also love soup, there are so many different kinds and they are usually pretty easy.
My cooking tragedies
I made the worst chicken pot pie ever. It was disgusting we threw the whole thing away. I've made some other pretty gross things but I always like to try new and different recipes. You never know when you’ll find one that’s phenomenal. There’s a pesto tuna recipe on this site that sounded weird, maybe a little gross but turned out to be the best tuna sandwiches we’ve ever had.

Artichoke Chicken Casserole
This turned out very well. My husband doesn't like artichokes or casseroles and he ate it so that's a win.

Baron's Blackberry Cobbler
This was good but a little too sweet and a little too cake like for my tastes. It was still very good.

African Peanut Soup
I followed this recipe exactly and it was very good. It just lacked spice, we added a little hot sauce and it was perfect. I also added the rice at the begining because my package says it takes 45 minutes to cook.
