Au Gratin Potatoes

I followed the recipe, but it was so bland. Definitely needed some salt and cheese mixed in with the potatoes, rather than just on top.

This turned out very delicious! I used one quart of chicken broth, no marrow, and didn't add the remaining quarter cup of butter at the end, and I added mushrooms with the onions. Very rich and moist!

Lea's Hamburgers

This recipe was alright; overall, it wasn't quite moist enough and the bacon was difficult to detect under the flavor of the onion. There are definitely better burger recipes out there.

Sweet Split Pea Soup

I added some tofu and spinach when I made this soup, but it was not that good. The hoisin sauce was too sweet for the taste and texture of the peas, and it was sort of bland. I gave it an extra star because my fiance (who, granted, cooks with hoisin more often) sorta liked it. Nix that, he just said it was gross.
