I used this to make a lighter fruit dip and it is excellent. I used 3 oz pkg kroger sf instant vanilla pudding, 1 c 1% milk, an 8 oz container light whipped topping, 1/4 t almond extract, 1/4 t vanilla extract. (After measuring 2 c topping, there was 1/2 c left, so I put it in also - I would not do this to pipe into strawberries, but as a dip it was still firm enough to hold its shape). After tasting it, I felt it wasn't "quite there, until I added the vanilla, then I thought it was perfect, with no aftertaste from the sugar free pudding. This is delicious with strawberries. With my ingredients, the entire recipe is 680 calories and 27.5 grams fat. Next time I will try skim milk and fat free topping to shave even more calories. Excellent recipe, thanks. Edit: we have tried this with green and red grapes, and fresh pears, also -- so far it is good on everything :)
