My favorite things to cook
Anything that is good, different but healthy at the same time. Like to incorprate dishes from all continents for a variety.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving dinner. I cook all things like my Mom used to when we were growning up. It's all still as great as she used to do it.
My cooking triumphs
Making my own tomato sauce from home grown tomatos (that my husband grows). I have people requesting that I make them spaghetti just so they can have my sauce. I can it so it keeps throughout the year.
My cooking tragedies
When I was married the firt time at age 22, I didn't know how to cook anything. I was pretty bad. But I learned on my own thru the years.

Baked Chicken
Loved this recipe! I had to make a few changes but I think the results would be the same. First, since I don't use sour cream, I used 0 fat greek yogurt. It has the same taste and texture. And instead of drizzling butter on top, I drizzled it with lite olive oil. This took out a lot of fat and cholesterol. My husband and I loved this and will definitely make it again soon!

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta
This was so delicious! The only thing I did a bit differently was to follow one reviewers advice to braise the chops in a cup of chicken broth after browning. I will definitely make this again. It's a winner!!

Radish Top Soup
This tastes sooooo good and sooooo healthy. I didn't add the cream at all. It doesn't need it. I did add just a bit of salt while it was simmering (probably just less than a tsp, just to bring out the flavor). I highly recommend this recipe and I also highly recommend tasting it after putting it thru the blender. I don't think you'll want any cream either. I will make this over and over again.
