Spicy Chili French Fries

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I only give this 3 stars because they came out mushy and squishy on the inside. The seasoning was yummy though! I have made other baked fries before, and reccomend baking them at a higher temp and for a shorter period of time, so the outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy.

Apple, Carrot, Or Zucchini Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
yummy cake! I made some changes though- used 1.5 cups brown sugar (instead of white), used only 2 cups of carrot/apple, and added a 1/2 cup of sour cream. The batter turned out perfect!

Peach Upside-Down Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
I made this in my skillet and it was yummy, it was my first time baking something in it and I could really taste the good difference! Make sure the peaches are really ripe or they wont peal very easy and will be kinda bitter. This isn't a very sweet cake though so if you like it sweet definately add more sugar (I think its great not so sweet though!).

Swedish Apple Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
This cake is SOOOOO GOOOOD!!! it is very important to cut the apple pieces pretty small or the cake will fall apart when you cut into it. I've made this 3 times already, and all my friends and family keep askin for more! I also tried it with dried fruit and it was very good. Thanks!

I love the ginger in this recipe, it kicks it up a notch, plus I love ginger! the only thing I changed about this was adding cornstarch to thicken the soup.

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
very yummy! not too sweet and very moist, just the way I like it. I did change it up a little though- I added vanilla and honey (because I was a little short on sugar), and used one whole egg instead of 2 egg whites (I only had one egg!) and freshly grated half an apple instead of applesauce. it turned out to be some of the best banana bread I have tried, and I make it all the time when I buy too many bananas! thanks
