Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
This is a very easy recipe and I made it GLUTEN-FREE with just two small changes. I used 1.5 cups of Bob's Red Mill all-purpose baking flour and added 1.5 teaspoons of xanthan gum.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
This was very tasty and easy. I added a clove of garlic to the marinade like others suggested and poured the sauce over the meat rather than basting.

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
These were tasty. The recipe was a bit time consuming, but it's a good recipe. My family has a lot of food allergies, so this is the only way they can eat baked beans -- homemade.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
This was really good and easy. I tried a few other tortilla soup recipes before I found this one, I will be sticking with this one.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2006
Loved this recipe and so did all my guests!! The flavor combo is perfect!! I hate to make a complaint, but it did take my potatoes almost 90 minutes of roasting at 350 degrees to get to have them soft enough to mash??

I love this recipe! I've made it a couple times and all 3 loaves come out perfect every time.

Chicken Enchilada Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
This recipe is yummy, but usually ruins dinner appetites if you are serving as an appetizer (since it is so rich)! I prefer to leave out the jalapeno pepper.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
This was good, but not great. I think it looks better than it tastes. I served my dip with Chicken in a Biscuit crackers and tortilla chips and nobody seemed to care for the crackers, they only ate the tortilla chips.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
The cheesecake taste and consistency for this recipe are on par with other recipes I have made, but the raspberry sauce is AWESOME. It's just like you would get at a nice restaurant.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
I followed this recipe exactly as it was written and the end product was just OK, not great. I probably won't make it again because of how long it took to peel the peaches.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
What a hit this recipe was at my Father's Day BBQ. The marinade for this recipe is great! I used half soy sauce and half teriyaki instead of the 1/4 C. soy. I did not marinate the mushrooms because I was afraid of chicken bacteria. The thick cut bacon was not very crispy. I probably would omit bacon all together next time.

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
This recipe was a TOTAL hit at my Father's Day BBQ (we have many picky eaters). I used filet mignon instead of sirloin and I didn't have lemon-lime soda, so I left it out completely. I would probably do the same next time I make them also. I only marinated meat for 6 hours, and the meat was very flavorful.
