I have been cooking since I was about 12. It is a family tradition that you learn how to cook. Men included.Mom worked and if you was hungry. You had to cook it..Needless to say there was alot of stuff wasn't so good..But after while you improved. Because house rules was you cook it, you eat it..Nuttin was dumped..Laugh..

My cooking triumphs
My gravy is now eatable.It doesn't look like starch now...LAUGH...God Bless the crock pot.I don't burn beans now.I now make very decent Pecan Pie..yeahhhhhh
My cooking tragedies
Burnt up pans.I would forget the beans.There is this family joke about a pie. My nephew loves Pecan Pie.I wanted to make him one. But for some reason something got left out. Taste was nastyyyy. And the look of it was bad. His poor dog sniffed at it and walked away...LAUGH..
