Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
These were quite good. Following others' reviews, I finely chopped the onion and added a little garlic. They baked nicely and were a good side to the lobster tails we had for NYE. {I see how the cheese sauce would be perfect for mac-n-cheese, I will be trying that soon!}

Day Before Mashed Potatoes
These were very rich and tasty, but had some small lumps. I cooked until still slightly firm but enough to break apart easily when forked thinking they would continue to cook some the next day & didn't want mushy or gluey potatoes. I refrigerated in a glass container overnight then transferred to a non-stick sprayed crockpot to heat for about 2.5 hours on low (then put on 'warm' while serving) to save room in the oven. Worked great & had lots of compliments!

Rosemary Roasted Turkey
Used dried basil (less) instead of fresh and mixed with softened butter instead of olive oil. The flavor was fantastic and I will use this again next year - so much better than a plain old turkey! Another change was that I used cooking instructions from a different recipe, so to be fair I can't give it 5 stars. (but based on flavor I would!)
