Chicken Salad Two Ways

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
Made the curried version of this chicken and it was awesome! Nice sweetness along with the celery and green onions. It lasted all weekend and I will make it again.

Good marinade for chicken. More time consuming then listed.

Sizzling Steak Fajitas

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2006
I liked the idea of doing the liquid marinade after cooking, but mine lacked any deep flavor. It was good, but not great.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2006
I really, really like the crust on the bars. It was rich, but had a delicacy from the powdered sugar. The lemon part lacked a lot of lemon flavor, but I had some comments that that was okay. I guess not everyone likes lemon bars too lemony! When I made them the 2nd time, I did 1.5x the lemon part and that was good. That is probably how I'll always make them. I also found these are better if kept chilled.

Cabbage Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2006
These are great!! My mother-in-law makes these for her farmboys all the time. Once you've made them a few times, you can go quickly. And these freeze very, very well. Just pop them in the microwave for a nice lunch or dinner.

Sour Cream Chicken Paprika

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
This was one of the most 'blah' meals I have ever made!! I read the other reviews, so I had high hopes for it. I can't think of anything I'd do to it if I ever considered making it again.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
Just like the title: it really is the best and super easy!! If I can hold off eating it all myself, these are wonderful holiday treats to give away. Remeber to keep an eye on it, as with different altitudes, the temp may not be exactly 285. I am near 5000 ft altitude, and it was closer to 275 for me.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Wow! This packs a punch!! I will make it again, but add less brandy, or maybe use a flavored brandy, like peach. Adding the ginger ale is absolutely necessary to dilute it.

Tiramisu II

This is a great crowd-pleaser! I agree with the other postings that it needs 24-48 hours to blend the flavors properly.
