Eating out of the bowl!
About this Cook
I am probably one of the youngest people on Allrecipes. Cooking provides a creative outlet for me where I can experiment. It is a wonderful stress reliever. If more people cooked we wouldn't need therapists!
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making healthier versions of my favorite recipes. I am now cooking for lots of people (including myself) on a whole foods, organic, low-gluten, vegetarian diet. So, lots of tofu, eggs, beans, and green vegetables. No dairy, meat (other than eggs) and I also make green juices every day. I love creating delicious recipes, using these wonderful healthy ingredients.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Some of my favorite memories of cooking are when my whole family gets together and everyone helps cook a meal. Also, when we have a large group of teenagers over to our house and we plan an evening of delicious culinary treats!
My cooking tragedies
I once made a recipe for a puff pancake. It was anything BUT puffy! It was dense and chewy and had no taste whatsoever.

Baked Scallops
I made this with shrimp instead of scallops. We loved it. Next time I would half the bread crumb mixture. Otherwise, great recipe.

Deb's Scallops Florentine
This was Amazing. Our family loved this recipe. Even those who don't like scallops enjoyed it. The key is to get as much moisture out of the scallops and spinach as possible.

Chocolate Chip Meringue
This recipe was great! I halved the mixture before I added the chocolate chips and instead added some peppermint extract. Nice and Light! There is not much more that I can say that hasn't already been said.
