Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
This is one of our favorites! I can't count how many times I've made it. it's also good spread on warm toast! I increase the powdered sugar to about a cup and a half and use a quarter cup of brown sugar. I also decrease the butter by a couple of teaspoons. This seems to make it a stiffer substance, but it still gets very soft if allowed to reach room temperature. My daughter calls this chocolate chip icing.

Cowboy Caviar

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Very tasty! I used less jalapeno because mine were home-canned and very hot. I also added about a tablespoon of sugar. I love to have this in the fridge for a quick snack. It's also good on a tossed lettuce salad.

Easy Chicken Fajita Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
Very good soup. I think next time I'll use half a can of tomatoes, but that's just our personal preference. My husband and daughter both enjoyed it.

Caramel Fudge Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
I've made this several times and although I don't normally add the nuts, otherwise it comes out perfectly without changing a thing. A delicious, very rich cheesecake.

Apple Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
This cake is excellent! It is very moist, I subbed oats for the nuts in the topping and it's delicious. I've also used cherries instead of apples, and my husband loved it too. This one is a keeper!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
This is by far the best homemade bread I have ever had. I halved the ingredients and ran my bread machine on the dough cycle (after proofing the yeast). Then I punched the dough down and put it into a loaf pan to rise again. It always turns out wonderful. Once it rose so high the top of the bread hit the oven top, the pan was on the middle oven rack! I make this very often and everyone loves it!

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I didn't use the pasta or the carrots in this soup and I doubled the cheese in the meatballs. It is delicious! I actually made it several months ago and froze the leftovers in small jars in my freezer. I had one of the last servings today for lunch. It freezes beautifully! Thanks for a great recipe!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This is a staple recipe at our house. Sometimes, I cube some potatoes in about inch and a half cubes and put in around the chicken and put some raw diced bacon on top of the potatoes. The mixture of the bacon and chicken drippings make the potatoes divine-almost better than the chicken.

Hands down this is my family's favorite way to have pork loin. I've made it many times with great results. Perfect just as written, no tweaking required.

Pumpkin Yeast Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
This was wonderful. I think next time I"ll back the amount of brown sugar to about half. It was very good and had a hint of a spicy pumpkin flavor.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This is one dish I get a craving for every once in a while. I remember a friend of my mother's serving it when I was a kid and this one is exactly as I remembered! I use the Buddig-style beef (2-2 oz. packages) instead of the dried beef.

Clone of a Cinnabon

These are absolutely wonderful! I use the delay feature on my bread machine and the dough is ready in the morning. I do like to double the filling mixture for some extra gooey-ness!

Very very good! I did have to add a half cup of brown sugar as I didn't think it was quite sweet enough. Very good on toast in the morning!

Texas Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
These were very good. I would have never thought to put the honey on the onions, but that really added a lot to the recipe. We used a spicy bbq sauce and the sweet from the honey was a wonderful contrast! I will make this one again and again.

Grilled Buffalo Wings

These were very good! I did them in the oven instead of the grill, It took a little over an hour, but they were very good. They turned out a little hot for our taste, but that was my own fault!

Chicken Spaghetti III

This recipe is very good, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because it was a bit too spicy. I think next time I will cut the Ro-Tel tomatoes in half and it will be fine.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

This was wonderful! I added the cheese on top during the last 20 minutes of baking so it wouldn't get too brown. Made this for a family dinner and they all loved it! This recipe is a keeper.
