This pizza crust was very good! I added some Pizza Spice mix from Penzey's in the crust, along with some extra garlic & onion powder. It's also a very oily dough (no kneading needed!), and I did add about 1/2 cup more flour. I like that the dough doesn't need to be precooked, yet comes out perfectly cooked, even with plenty of sauce and toppings. Yum!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Delicious! I only had provolone slices in the fridge, so I used that instead of swiss and it was heavenly! This is definitely going on my "menu"!

German Potato Pancakes

This is a great recipe to start with. I actually just make them with thawed out shredded hashbrowns, and they are delicious! No need to worry about the potatoes discoloring, either. I've gotten to the point that I make these without measuring, but the original recipe is great. You can actually just leave out the baking powder if you don't happen to have some - works great to just use a little more flour with the hashbrowns. Yum!!

My husband loved this! Very spicy - both of us were drinking water like it was going out of style. I forgot to buy the coriander, but did have the garam masala - still delicious without the coriander!

Pumpkin Dip

This is so delicious! I always have everyone asking me for the recipe when I make this. Our favorite items to dip are granny smith apple slices and ginger snaps. Yum!

Cheese Fondue

This is our favorite cheese fondue so far! You can get away with using a little higher ratio of swiss to gruyere (since gruyere is considerably more espensive). If you add a little bit of lemon juice at the end, it will keep it a little more of a liquid. Delicious!

Yummy! My husband and I ate this in Munich this summer, and I've been wanting to recreate it ever since. I'm not a fan of raisins and didn't have any on hand, so I left them out (just put in a teaspoon of rum), and it was still delicious!

Black Beans and Rice

We love this recipe! My husband requests it frequently now, and I was surprised that I like it, too! The great this is that as long as you keep the broth & rice proportional, you can use whatever amount of rice or beans you have. (I often use up our leftover burrito beans using this recipe!)

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Yum! My husband loves these almost as much as my chocolate chip cookies, which is a huge deal! I did use regular oats (not quick) since that's all we had, but I actually like them slightly chewy. Even though the recipe says it yields two dozen, I got almost 6 dozen large cookies out of it! That should last us a while - or maybe not!

Pepperoni Stromboli

Yum! I added extra sauce on top before baking, then added extra cheese 5 minutes before it was done. Delicious! Update: We've found that adding some cooked pork sausage makes this stromboli absolutely irresistible! Also, after making it dozens of times, I've found I'm completely happy without the bread braid on top, and sometimes I mix a little shredded cheddar with the mozzarella.

Baked French Fries II

We love this recipe! What a great alternative to fried french fries... I throw some oregano on top, as well as the salt, pepper, basil and parmesan, and it is so yummy!!

Grilled Mahi Mahi

We thought this recipe was okay, but maybe a bit too spicy. My husband even likes spicy foods a lot, but thought it threw off the fish. I served it over rice, which we liked.
