Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
Wonderful. I used the suggestion about the Old Bay seasoning and the breadcrumbs and the paprika, garlic powder, etc. I didn't use the lemon juice and it was just perfect.

Pizza Pinwheels

I just made these tonight for the second time. Definately double the recipe. The kids ages 9-14 love 'em and the adults ate their share, too.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

This is a great recipe! I do have to tell everyone that it's cranberry, it seems to look like raspberry to everybody. Really pretty and it improves over several days. Thanks.

Date Nut Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Very good. My Dad loves date nut skillet cookies at Christmas, but they were so hot that they burned my hands last Christmas. This looked like most of the same ingredients and he really liked them. Thank you!

Tiger Butter II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Very good. The chocolate on the top seemed a little too hard. It crumbled when I cut it and sort of broke instead of letting me cut it into squares, but it tasted fantastic.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
My family loves this. I don't use butter, but spray some olive oil in the bottom of a 9x13 and then lightly spray the top of the chicken. It is wonderfully moist and tastes fantastic.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Great. My kids didn't like the yeasty smell that the beer gave it, so I will try it the way other suggested it next time. Great flavors.

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Very good. I couldn't eat it all the night I made it, but scraped it out of the shells and it was just as good warmed up the next day. Wonderful.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Fantastic. Really good. Time consuming but so tasty. I cut and salted the eggplant the night before and layered it between paper towels. I put it on a plate with a heavy bowl on the top and it really took out the bitterness. Fantastic meatless main meal.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Wonderful. I used 3 T of chili powder as some suggested, and two cans of rinsed black beans. I also added a T of cumin and 3 cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies instead of one. Excellent.

Fantastic. I loved the ease and flavor. I can't say enough good things about it. I used pepper jack instead of provolone.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This was great. I doubled the recipe and used half-and-half instead of heavy cream. I was making it at my Dad's house a state away and I forgot the tarragon - it was wonderful anyway. Yum.

Coconut Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
My partner and his daughter raved. I don't like coconut, but they both love it. Since I don't like it, I wanted it to be the easiest one to make! I used the coconut instant pudding like others suggested. "Top notch"

Hot Mexican Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
I served this at my family Christmas get together. It was gobbled up. I made it again when I got home from visiting because you can have it in the fridge and heat up a little at a time with some chips as a snack! Excellent.

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
Not only did my sons, 12 and 14 love them, I ended up snacking on them, too! My 14yo made them with me standing by the next time we had them and was so proud of himself. Thanks for a great recipe. We did cut the dogs into chunks, and used a mini-muffin pan. We evenly distributed the dogs, then covered with the mix as others had suggested. Worked great.

French Baguettes

This was a great way to use the bread machine. The loaves looked beautiful and tasted great. No more difficult than popping pre-made in the oven to brown - well, almost!

Great. We don't like artichoke hearts, so I chopped up some red pepper and I used a mexican blend of cheese. They were great and really fast. Thanks.
