Kona Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
My family liked this one a lot and want it to be a keeper. I wasn't completely sold on it - tasted like every other crock pot recipe for chicken. It was ok, but not great.

Pleasant Pork Chops

I'm struggling to find a recipe for pork chops that I love. This one came close and I will probably make again.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
These were very good with some lettuce and cheese to cut down on the sour combination of vinegar and lime juice. A tasty recipe and a nice change from regular tacos.

Slow Cooker London Broil

The combination of soups made this an easy, tasty crock pot recipe. A keeper! Meat was super tender.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This was fantastic. I made the recipe with no altering, and everyone loved it. Even my pseudo-vegetarian daughter!

Broccoli Hamburger Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I omitted the mushrooms but used mushroom soup instead of celery soup. It was easy and tasty but just a wee bit bland - but I also leave out the salt because my family overuses it on the table! That might be all that was missing. Will make again, everyone liked it even my "doesn't eat red meat" daughter!

Crunch Top Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
These were bland, bland, bland. We each took a big spoonful and neither one of us finished them. We won't make these again - there's too many other super potato recipes out there to waste time on this one. Sorry!

German Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
This was better than I thought it would be. The only thing I would change (and this is just for our own taste) is that the BBQ sauce I used was pretty strong so I might go with something milder next time. Something on the sweet side as opposed to the heavy smokey side.

Teriyaki Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
These were just ok for me. They were moist, but the flavor was not anything outstanding. I did substitute Baste N Glaze for regular teriyaki, and the griller basted them with extra while cooking. I also added about 1/3 c. breadcrumbs because they wouldn't hold together well without it. We're trying lots of new burger recipes his summer and I don't think this one will make the menu rotation with the other outstanding ones we've tried.

Tasty and refreshing. Has a little bite to it from the citrus. Good summer time drink - I will have again!

Tequila Lime Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
These are good, tasty burgers. My only complaint is the mixture was too juicy to hold together well. I added oatmeal before forming the patties but they still fell apart on the grill. Next time I will try breadcrumbs and an egg and we will use our Forman grill.

This is a very moist, very tasty lemon cake. I've made this twice - for my FIL's birthday and now he requests and looks forward to it! Thanks!

Peanutty Beef Skewers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
There was not a lot of peanut taste to these - we had them some time ago and I'm just catching up on reviews. No one has requested them since we had them so didn't really stand out in anyone's mind. Not a keeper, sorry!

Chinese-Style Cheeseburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
These were delicious! I added an egg and some breadcrumbs based on other reviewers suggestions. I also used ketchup and chili powder instead of chili sauce, and chinese mustard instead of prepared mustard. I also used the cheese crumbles based on other suggestions. They held together "ok" but that's just because I warned the grill master ahead of time. We are going to try cooking them on the Forman grill next time to see if that helps keep them together.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
These were a bit labor intensive, but worth it. I may cut the baking time just a smidge next time as the outsides got a little too crispy for my liking.

This was a little dry for my liking, but I might have over baked it. Flavor was good - worth trying again!
