I dissagree about the jelly donuts. I have done this with an assortment of all types of filled donuts. AWSOME!!!

Easy Shakshuka

This is a variation of a very old Italian dish my Grandmother made. Of course, she used left over pasta sauce from Sundays dinner & served it with crunchy italian bread toast!

We've given this recipe a 5 star for over 60 yrs in 3 generations. Something we all looked forward to for dessert as kids.And so easy to make. Glad to see it still around & being enjoyed.

Chocolate Trifle

I'm so surprised at the number of people just catching on to the "trifle thing". I've done these for years, because they are sooo versitile. You can use up stale cake, cake or pies that flop, left over fruits, any pudding or jello. Nuts ,candy,liquores. Endless as your imagination!! Always a hit with any age group.

awsome recipe, very similar to one I have used for years (we are Italian also) A quick tip.. The water bath with all that foil etc. is not really necessary. Just put a small bowl of water on the other oven rack & the steam will give you th same results.

I've been doing this for ages. I do them on skewers. Add a black olive { (reg or calamadi) Olive oil, balsamic, garlic , fresh basil& red pepper flakes. Display on whole eggplant.

Raspberry Trifle

Awsome! I did like it a little better with angel food cake. (cut in small chunks) It was a bit lighter. i also did it in individual mini trifles for a dessert table. RAVES!!
