This is a variation of a very old Italian dish my Grandmother made. Of course, she used left over pasta sauce from Sundays dinner & served it with crunchy italian bread toast!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
I'm so surprised at the number of people just catching on to the "trifle thing". I've done these for years, because they are sooo versitile. You can use up stale cake, cake or pies that flop, left over fruits, any pudding or jello. Nuts ,candy, liquores. Endless as your imagination!! Always a hit with any age group.

Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
awsome recipe, very similar to one I have used for years (we are Italian also) A quick tip.. The water bath with all that foil etc. is not really necessary. Just put a small bowl of water on the other oven rack & the steam will give you th same results.
