Super simple, basic recipe. Keeping this in the permanent file. I added a dash of salt and pepper, Parmesan cheese and granulated onion. They were delicious.

Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
GREAT recipe and very easy! I did adjust the oven temperature to 375 but I have an older oven. Some others mentioned having soggy dough. I used 3 cups of "00" flour and exactly 1 cup of warm water. When I activated the yeast in a separate bowl I did so with some of the water from the 1 cup I had set aside. I did not use additional water and my dough was perfect. It was not at all soggy. I also use a pizza pan that has holes at the bottom for a crispier crust. If you use exactly one cup of warm water you won't have a soggy crust. I baked crust first for 7 mins then added my toppings and then baked another 8 mins. or so. I will use this recipe over and over. It was perfect. I may even try adding some spices as others did.

Berry Good Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
To all that attempt to make this...the batter is going to be thick. This is how the recipe is but do not fear. My daughter and I just made this and it is absolutely delicious! I love it and as easy as it is to make it is a keeper in my family's dessert menu.

Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
After trying a recipe for pumpkin muffins from a magazine and being disappointed, I came to my favorite site to find another. I wanted more of a pumpkin taste to my muffins and although this recipe was for pumpkin bread, I used it to make muffins. After reading some of the reviews I also made some changes. I used brown sugar instead of white and added a teaspoon of vanilla. I also reduced the ground cloves to 1 tsp and skipped the nutmeg. I did find that 3 cups of brown sugar was a bit too sweet so next time I will use just 2 1/2 cups. Other than that this recipe ROCKS! I was able to make 24 muffins out of this recipe and even topped them with walnuts. I baked at 350 degrees for 25-30 mins. My muffins came out so moist and were exactly what I was looking for. I made these for my husband to take to work today and I know that they will be a big hit with pumpkin lovers. This is a recipe that is going into my permanent file.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
Such an easy recipe to follow! I used the butter flavored crisco sticks that I had on hand and this gave it a buttery flavor. I am so happy I found this recipe because I plan on making all of our Thanksgiving pies.

Millet Muffins

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
GREAT recipe! So easy! I made this just as instructed and the muffins were good. I was looking for a little more of a sweet muffin so I adjusted the salt to 1/8 tsp. and added 2 tbsp. of Splenda for baking. I also used 1 cup of whole wheat baking flour and 1 cup of millet flour and made up the additional 1/4 cup required with flax meal and wheat germ. In addition I used 1/2 the oil and 1/4 cup of unsweetened apple sauce. YUMMY!
