Pizza Dough III
GREAT recipe and very easy! I did adjust the oven temperature to 375 but I have an older oven. Some others mentioned having soggy dough. I used 3 cups of "00" flour and exactly 1 cup of warm water. When I activated the yeast in a separate bowl I did so with some of the water from the 1 cup I had set aside. I did not use additional water and my dough was perfect. It was not at all soggy. I also use a pizza pan that has holes at the bottom for a crispier crust. If you use exactly one cup of warm water you won't have a soggy crust. I baked crust first for 7 mins then added my toppings and then baked another 8 mins. or so. I will use this recipe over and over. It was perfect. I may even try adding some spices as others did.
