Wine Sauce Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
I don't add the cheddar cheese, evaporated milk nor the slivered almonds and I bake everything in a skillet on the stovetop. This recipe is divine and delicious! :)

Chicken Pesto Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
Pretty good recipe, although I didn't add the artichoke hearts nor that particular type of cheese and I baked my pizza on the BBQ - yummy!

Roasted Garlic

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
Garlic. It's great no matter what you do with it! This recipe was yummy. We spread the garlic on warm cheese biscuits. I will do this again. A word of advice: if you're using a toaster oven to cook these, you might want to consider lowering the temperature slightly. I almost burnt these that way.

Banana Bread V

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
Great recipe! And by the way, it can't be messed up by even the most amateurish chefs out there! My husband and I made a batch of these and since we had lots of leftover ripe bananas, we decided to mix up another batch. I left it to my husband, who scarcely measured, mixed in the wrong order, etc. and it still turned out just as good as the first loaf. The banana flavour is prominent, as it should be since it is a banana bread, and YUMMY. This is a keeper.

Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
Good recipe, but it was missing a little ZING. Next time we'll add more garlic. As a rule in this house, 2 cloves of garlic is the MINIMUM you can use in a recipe! :) And I think it was missing a bit of salt. That can be fixed with a bit of soy sauce or even just a bit more salt. Other than that, the cooking time was perfect - veggies were tender yet slightly crisp and the shrimp tender and juicy!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

They really are just like the biscuits at that so-called famous seafood restaurant! ;) Yummy served with a hot stew or soup.

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
I made these wonderful beans last night (along with the grecian pork tenderloin, which was a total flop, by the way) and my guest couldn't stop complimenting me on them! Even my fiance had seconds and he is not crazy about green beans. I think the amount of sugar you add depends on how sour your tomatoes are and on your own personal taste. I used fresh garlic and half salt, half seasoning salt, and just a tad less butter than the recipe called for. Also, I didn't have fresh basil on hand, so I used dry basil and it turned out great. This was fantastic; this is my new green beans recipe. Mmmmm. THANK YOU!

Grecian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
My fiance loved this recipe, our guest made no specific comments about it, and I wasn't too fond of it. As I was preparing the marinade, I kept tasting and smelling it and I could already tell it was going to be bland, but I decided to give it a chance... I marinated it for about 4 hours and the lime was the only flavour I tasted, even though I followed the recipe to a 'T'. It was a little dry as well. I won't make this again as I've DEFINITELY had better tenderloin recipes! Sorry...
