Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
omg! So delicious and so easy and quick. I used 1 stick of cold butter instead of shortening , and mixed into the flour mixture till a little crumbly. Kneaded only 4 or 5 times on floured surface and patted it out till about 1 inch thick , then used the end of a 1/4 cup measuring cup to cut them.

amazing! Wasn't too excited about thiz one after reading the recipe, bug decided to try it anyway because of review, and boyyyyyyyy am i glad I did! I used a smaller dish, so cut all ingredients jn half. I whipped some fresh whipping cream instead of cool whip, used Hershey chocolate sauce with chunky peanut butter, and topped with chopped reeces cups. My hubby went crazy ovrr this one!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
oh wow! I wanted to make this for the longest time and finally did so for dinner today. Delicious! Very quick! Very easy! I doubled all of the sauce ingredients, and used 8 oz of spaghetti. I separately sauteed red, and green pepper cut into thin strips, shredded carrot, half an onion chopped, and a tsp of sesame seeds, all in some sesame oil, added to the sauce before I mixed in the pasta.topped with cilantro and YUMMO!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
Very Nice. Everyone really enjoyed these. However, I may have done something wrong (I think it was the fact that I added semi-melted butter instead of just "softened" butter)...because my "dough" was nothing dough like! It was very sticky and wet...what a mess! And the scones didn't poof up as much as they probably should've....will try again though.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
YUCK-O!!!! This turned out sooo badly and i followed the recipe exactly. The chicken was juicy (but thats about it), the combination of the marinade was unpleasant, even washing the pan later was not fun. I will not make this agin.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
OH MY GOD! This is truly unbelievable!!! I'm not a huge chicken fan, but I can eat the whole bowl of this. I add more mayonaise than the recipe call for. I also add green apples and green grapes and red bell pepper (for color). I serve it on crossiants and oh is it good!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
Wow Wow Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! These are incredible! I have my 2nd batch in the oven as I write this. Like some other reviewers mentioned, these are done to PERFECTION in exactly 12 mins...even though they do not look done. I removed mine from the cookie sheet right away so that they woudln't "cook" anymore on the hot sheet. I can't wait for my hubby to come home and try these! YUM!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: May 8, 2007
Very good. I was pleasantly surprised. Especially because how easy it is. The alternations I made and suggest are: Substitute chicken broth for water, add chopped up jalenpeno peppers (i got the ones that come in a jar..they are extra tangy) with onions and green pepper, add 1/2 can of tomatoe sauce with the broth. It turned out a little soggy but very good!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
YUM! My brownies were in the oven (Best Brownies Recipe from hall of fame section) and I got this brilliant idea to add peanut butter frosting on it. So I hurriedly looked thru this site and found this recipe. I made very little (cutting the ingredients by 1/2) cuz I didn't know how it was going to turn out and BOY DO I REGRET IT! IT is THE BEST Frosting EVER! I'm anxiously waiting for the brownies to cool so I can lather on the frosting and take a huge bite. I'm making these for a potluck tomorrow but I doubt any will last by then. This gets 5 YUMS!

Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
The salad was good, not great. I used 1/2 a head of cabbage, but it actually turned out to be too much for the dressing as the dressing seemed to be very light. Next time, I'll increase the ingredients for the dressing. I also put mandarin oranges in the salad and i think thats what actually MADE the salad. Overall, good salad, but the dressing needs tweeking.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
This is honestly the first salad I've ever truly made. (I'm new at this cooking stuff!) My friends LOVED it. They forgot about the rest of the food I spent hours making and devoured the salad. I didn't add the poppy seeds nor the minced onion. And for the dressing, I mixed balsamic vinegar, olive oil, raspberry vinegar, sugar and sesame seeds. It was delicious!!! Yum I feel like having some now!
