True comfort food. I did not use the tomatoes and added extra cheese. It was kind of like Hamburger Helper, but without that nasty powdered cheese. The husband and the kids really liked it.

The flavor is so good. I have yet to find a way around the soggy bread/cracker issue. So the last few times I have made it, I have left the cracker/bread out for everyone to spread themselves. Really great though.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

This is the only way my kids will eat asparagus. I also add only a TBS or less of olive oil. Always turns out great.

Baby Back Ribs

These were the best ribs from an oven we have ever had. I used a dry rub found on this site, but it had too much black pepper for us. It overtook the flavor of all else. But the ribs were done to a turn and falling off the bones. Great technique.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These are pretty yummy. The only changes I made were to omit the raisins and roll the balls in turbinado sugar before baking. 10 mins. was plenty for my oven using rounded teaspoon full. Thanks for sharing this!

Crustless Cheese Quiche

Thanks for this one Deanna! Very fast and yummy. Because I am lazy, I used the fully cooked bacon that you microwave. Next time, I will fry some bacon. I missed the crunch of it. Also, I put twice the bacon in, so I am not sure I needed to grease the pie pan too. All that extra bacon made a lot of liquid. May also have been that pre-cooked bacon. SO good! Even the 2-yr-old ate it!

Orange Cake

What a great recipe! It took less than six mins. to get together and get in the oven. I did sub vanillia pudding and orange extract to get a big orange flavor. My husband loves those orange Hostess cupcakes, so he loved this. I misread the glaze and made it with granulated sugar thinking that was "white" sugar. It was still yummy. You can stop laughing now.
