Perfect Beef stew - made the following changes: put 1/4 c. flour, tsp garlic powder, tsp onion powder, 1/2 rsp pepper in a bag - threw in cubes and shook. Seared the cubes in a dutch oven - after searing - along with beef bouillon, put in 1/2 c. red wine. Put more veggies in than called for. Added more bouillon around 1 1/2 hrs into simmer. Added 1 tbsp each of ketchiup, A-1 & Worstershire during simmer. Only change would be for me to simmer total of 2.5 hrs as I found veggies still a little undercooked after 2 hrs.
