Kristen's Parmesan Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2011
I needed an alternative to mashed potatoes since the husband found out that he's allergic to dairy, so I left off the Parmesan. Made them the very first time for some company, and they were a big hit. I changed the salt for garlic salt and cut it down to a couple dashes. I did cut and soak the potatoes ahead of time per someone else's review. Mine stuck to the baking sheet even though I turned then halfway through, but they were still very good.

Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
I cut the salt to 1/2 tsp, as were trying to cut our sodium intake, also accidentally mixed in the poultry seasoning instead of sprinkling on top. Turned out pretty good, just a tiny bit bland. Will definitely be trying this again, with some minor adjustments.

Ham 'N' Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
This was my second try at a quiche and it turned out fantastic. I used leftover ham from thanksgiving (honeybaked ham! soo yummy) and a combination of cheeses including mozzerella and quesdilla cheeses. Subbed out the cream for non-fat milk and it still worked out perfectly! Even had it for lunch the next day, and I rarely eat leftovers (which is sad I know)

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
I've made these twice now, and they are fantastic! I used half butter (cold) and half shortening otherwise they would have been a little bland. Wouldn't have changed it at all if I had butter flavored shortening in the cupboard. Very good recipie!

A little bland but pretty good. It made alot more than I expected. We did add more sausage, next time we will try it with a flavored sausage.

I love this recipe. Everyone else does too. It is really simple to make and comes out perfectly every time. I started adding spices to the mix such as oregano, some pepper and basil.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
I have made this twice now and it is definetly a favorite. We are not a big fan of sour cream so I just used Ricotta cheese and it came out fantastic, even as leftovers.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

awesome sugar cookies, though definetly not cookie cutter material. I used colored sugar to roll them in and they came out great!

Banana Boats

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2006
One of my favorite camp desserts, though I do make them at home in the microwave. Make sure to cut off banana stems before microwaving as they will catch fire. Cook time varies so I always cook for a minute at a time. Would be great for kids to do as it doesn't involve the stove or oven, and it is good and squishy when done.
