My favorite family cooking traditions
It has to be home made ravioles come Easter time. The whole family gets together to make about 500 or so for Easter. It's a great time. And best of all is Easter Sunday when we get to eat our hard days work.
My cooking triumphs
My friend bought home a huge Alaskan King Salmon that he caught on vacation. I sectioned it up and we had a VIP barbeque. The VIP's got the salmon, the rest of the folks got burgers and dogs.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to make corn bread muffins. I had a taste for them and I didn't have any baking powder. Being the novice cook that I am, figured who needs baking powder. Well they came out of the oven looking like hockey pucks.
