Pan Sauce Chicken

Had to share: I just figured out a good way to use frozen chicken breasts with this recipe: When you saute the chicken in the first step, just use a little extra oil and cook the chicken all the way through to browned. Set chicken aside. Then make the sauce (you dont' have to simmer 30 minutes) and pour over the chicken. Delicious results in about the same total time!

Sausage Red Beans 'n' Rice

My first time making Red Beans n Rice, and it was super easy! I thought I'd have to add more spices, but it was flavorful...just perfect.

Delicious! I replaced half the oil with applesauce, half the white sugar with brown, and half the flour with whole wheat flour. I also doubled the vanilla.

Colorful Beverage

Mmmmm! I used a melon baller on softly frozen, fresh oranje juice and put it in the glass after pouring the chilled cranberry juice. It made a nice presentation. This is a good healthy drink for kids too!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

This simple recipe was fabulous! My toddler and husband both loved it.They were good with rice and a mushroom gravy, as well as mixed with alfredo pasta. Next time I'm going to add soem garlic for kick.

Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

This recipe was simple and easy. I used the leftover bacon from breakfast and served it over rice. It was rich, though I did add a lot of pepper to increase the flavor.
