About this Cook
I love to cook with delicious ingredients (butter, salt, etc), my struggle is how to take great old school recipes and make them healthy. I also love middle-eastern food.
My favorite things to cook
Baked goods Casseroles Fancy things you always hear about growing up (rack of lamb, etc.)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Only baking, my mother was not a cook but every Christmas we baked cookies and made home-made apple sauce
My cooking triumphs
220 cookies 2 days before I got married My first butterflied chicken Rack of lamb for my hubby's birthday
My cooking tragedies
Many recipes that turn out too bland and an unfortunate buffalo chicken dip for a Christmas party that I let my hubby taste test, and it turned out too spicey for everyone but him and his dad!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken
Easy and yummy! Took much longer to cook, I used a digital thermometer so nuch sure exactly how much longer. I also added a little bit more curry powder, each teaspoon was heaping. My husband loved it, definately a great recipe especially for days when I know I will have had a long day and don't want to do much prep, I can just marinade the night before. Thanks for a simply and great recipe.

Spiced Quinoa
Awesome, my husband and I loved it. The raisins and pine nuts really add a great depth to the flavor. Like others I doubled the spices other than the cinnamon

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Amazing! Look so professional. Based on previous reviews I froze the chocolates prior to adding them to cooked dough.
