About this Cook
I love to be with my family in a kitchen cooking all kinds of different foods. I like traveling and getting foods I wouldnt normally try and if I really like a dish I try to make one of my own at my house.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! I'm not really a big cook but when I have to I'm not that bad.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family actually doesnt like to cook that much. When it comes to holidays it's a different story, especially when it's Thanksgiving. My family always brings WAY too much food but it's alot of fun to have everyone in the kitchen telling stories and just having fun making a big mess.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made a cheesecake I didnt have any cracks and everyone was making a big deal out of it. At the time I didnt know that if you had
My cooking tragedies
I was making a fudge cake with my mom the required boiling water. So me and my mom split the recipe in half so I was mixing the dry ingredients and she had the wet ingredients. When it came time to mix everything together my mom had forgotten to add the boiling water so when I baked the cake the middle sunk all the way to the bottome of the pan. I'm never splitting a recipe again!

Tomato Bacon Grilled Cheese
This was a pretty good recipe. Since I almost never have regular bacon I used turkey bacon and to give it a little spice I used papper jack cheese and some jalapenoes...yummm!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I
This was my first time making a cheesecake and it was an OK cheesecake. There wasnt enough chocolate chips and when I left the cake in the oven to set, the cheesecake seemed to cook even more. So I was left with dark edges and the next day it was a little hard. Maybe next time I wont let it sit in the oven and I'll add more chocolate chips.

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I
This was my first time making a cheesecake with carmel and it was alot of fun to make. My family was gone for the night so I made it for when they came back and when I woke up there was only one piece left!
