Mom's Country Gravy
Too much vegetable oil. The best gravy I make is brown one pound of pork sausage, add 1/4 cup flour and mix. Add two cups of milk and cook until thickened. Simple and tasty. Add seasonings to taste.

Apple Kuchen
I used the recommendations and added 1 c butter and walnuts to the cake mix. This made a great base. I then used Jonathan apples with the sugar and cinnamon. The result was delicious. However, the cooking time was about an hour which was way off the recipe.
