Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
Yummy! What a keeper. I improvised a little to suit my family's taste and what I had on hand. Just sprinkled garlic and chili powders in with the chicken/sauce mixture and heated before adding cheese. Topped with a little more cheese and a little more enchilada sauce. Thanks for a great recipe.

Baked Kale Chips

Truly crispy with a yummy flavor. I'm always looking for foods that are South Beach friendly and these chips fit in perfectly. I did use the olive oil cooking spray - super easy. Thanks for a great recipe.

Peppered Pecans

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
Yum! I did add a teaspoon of garlic salt for more flavor and spiciness. Also, after reading through the whole recipe, I found that it was South Beach Diet friendly if you can refrain from eating too many!

Grilled Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
Do not, I repeat, do not try to substitute fat free half and half in this recipe. I will try it again one of these days with heavy cream. The only reason I gave this two stars is because it's my own darn fault!

Yum. I made these exactly as instructed - except I used Yukon Gold potatoes. The family loved them! Thanks for a delicious recipe.

Frozen Chocolate Pie

Delicious! I was thinking that I should sift the cocoa but I got lazy and didn't bother. No problem. Smooth and creamy chocolate delish! Thank you, Bonnie! We love it!

Graham Cracker Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Great tasting, but this makes a ton! It could probably fill 2 Pyrex pie pans. Next time, I will cut the recipe by at least a third.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
Always the best! Perfect outcome every time for me. The only thing I do differently is replace the spices with 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. Thanks for a recipe that has become a tradition in our family.

Chicken Divan Lasagna

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Yum! I made this as directed for a bridal shower, as well as a pan of veggie lasagna. My only complaint is that the lasagna seemed a little too runny, although after sitting it was better. The flavor was great. Thanks for a keeper.

Margarita Cake with Key Lime Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
Oh yum! Since others said the recipe made a lot of frosting, I took the that part of the recipe and followed the amounts used for 8 servings. This works out to be 5 ounces cream cheese, 1/3 cup butter, 2 t. each lime peel and juice, and 3 1/3 cups powdered sugar. That was still plenty of frosting, and we thought the flavors were just perfect! Thanks, Tori for a fantastic recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
Delicious! We loved it. I followed the recipe to the letter and really liked the way the chicken browned and got really tender. The sauce seemed a little thick at the end, so I stirred in 1/2 soup can of milk. Perfect. I served it over egg noodles with steamed broccoli. My daughter put her broccoli right on top, so I might just stir it in next time. Thanks, Judi Ann!

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
Yum! Soft in the middle, crunchy on the outside. Mine turned out perfect! And the cinnamon added just a great touch, to keep the cookies from tasting too sweet. Thank you for a new fave!

Surprise Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2011
While the flavor was good, my cake was heavy! I creamed the butter and sugar thoroughly as others suggested, adding eggs one at a time, etc. All I can figure is that maybe it didn't turn out well because I am at a high altitude and didn't adjust for that. I doubt I'll make this one again.

Yummy if you like lemon bars! Yes, the dough is sticky, but I used one of those little "ice cream" scoops for cookies, and it went great! Thanks, Jennifer for a new favorite around here!

Dave's BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
It was a great basic sauce, but I was looking for something spicy! So I doubled the hot pepper sauce, and the garlic. Then I threw in a dash of cayenne, a squirt of mustard, and some celery salt. Yum! Thanks for a great basic recipe.

Slow-Cooked Chili

I didn't have any canned tomatoes, so I added some medium salsa and beef broth to make up the difference in liquid. It turned out great! Thanks Sue!
