Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2003
Very good cookie. I did not give it the full 5 stars as my husband and I prefer a chewier cookie. Will try taking them out of the oven a minute or two earlier next time (we are at a higher altitude, so maybe this is an issue).

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2003
I have been making this recipe for three years now and we love it! A very flavorful dish that is friendlier to my waistline than fettucini alfredo. (Although still far from low fat) You have to try this recipe at least once!

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2003
This is the BESTEST of all banana recipes!!! (Rightfully so, check out the fat and calorie content!) I cut the cake into much smaller pieces. Very moist and rich - a definate keeper.

Raspberry Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2003
These are very good, but no taste of lemon (I did not use the lemon extract). Next time I will use the juice and zest of the full lemon. Excellent for a low fat and calorie muffin! Do not overmix.

Doreen's Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
Excellent - the flavor of the ginger really comes through. This is the only marinade for steak that I use.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
Our favorite way to BBQ chicken! My parents and in-laws even loved this recipe when we prepared it for them! I also used fresh mushrooms.

I used the ready to use coleslaw mix instead of cabbage. It was fantastic - will make again.

Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: May 7, 2003
I suggest using instant mashed potatoes (make enough for 8 servings). Tastes great and cuts a lot of the preparation time. I don't care for Shepard's pie normally, but this recipe is very delish.

One of my hubby's favorite dishes (he loves anything with ground beef and sauce). Made instant mashed potatoes and poured the sauce over - very tasty.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: May 7, 2003
These are by far the best chocolate chip cookies I have made. You have to pull them out of the oven before they start turning too golden to ensure soft cookies. Also as another reviewer suggested, put them in a ziploc bag with a piece of bread to keep them soft - it totally works!

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2003
I made these for Easter dinner for 17 people by doubling the recipe. Everyone bugged me about how many potatoes there were. However, at the end of dinner there were no leftovers but many requests for the recipe. Highly recommended!!!!

Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2002
The mixture tasted yummy when I was mixing the filling, but when I went to fry them, they got air pocket in them, popped and all the filling drained out (making it a deep-fried disaster). I lowered heat and I went over the edges again to make sure they were sealed properly. A wasted night and money.
