Ham Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
This is a very tasty and hardy soup! The smokiness of the bacon and ham was complemented well by the rosemary. I was concerned that the amount of leek and onions may be overpowering, but they balanced the soup nicely with their sweetness. Excellent use of leftover ham. Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2005
These are truly the best! They taste like a really soft peanut butter cookie loaded with chocolate and more peanut butter! Yummers! I baked for 12 minutes and left on the cookie sheet for an hour before removing to ensure they didn't fall apart as easily because they are so soft!

The World's Best Turkey

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2004
Uncoventional - but turned out excellent! My whole family enjoyed, but a couple complained about the gravy not tasting "traditional". I thought the gravy tasted better!

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2004
The best falafels! Even my hubby really liked them. I would probably just buy tzatziki sauce next time (less work and tastier)

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
Excellent - like Shake 'N Bake, but better. The mayo coating was different but left the chicken very moist and delicious.

Crispy Fish

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
Delicious recipe. Not the authentic English fried fish, but a nice change. I would half the dry ingredients as there was way more than necessary for coating the fillets.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
Very simple to make and was a big hit with the family - including the in-laws. We only ate about half the dessert, and my sister-in-law claimed the leftovers!

Wonderful Waffles

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
Very good recipe. I had buttermilk I wanted to get rid of, and it made the most delicious waffles!! I cooked them in the waffle iron for 3 minutes and they were perfect.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2003
Absolutely awesome!!! Not so much a creamy casserole - more of a moist cornbread. I made this for my husband's birthday dinner and everyone loved this! Many requests for the recipe.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
Very good for a soft cookie - although very cakelike. I prefer crisp on outside and chewy on inside - see Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II for the best I've made yet.

Amy's Healthy Fruity

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2003
The bitterness of the plain yogurt overpowered the smoothie. Maybe I'll add a couple tablespoons of Splenda next time, or use vanilla yogurt.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2003
We love BBQing salmon filets in their skin after marinating in BC salmon marinade (may only be available in Canada). This recipe is definately a close second and is a nice change for us.
