Flaky Food Processor Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
This is the first pie crust I've made from scratch. It was so easy I think I will never buy a store bought one again. It was so easy to make. I only used half of the water. I was amazed with how easy it was to handle. I had no problem rolling it out and I even made the top into a lattice. The best part, it tasted soooooooo good. I'm normally not a fan of a pie crust and would often eat the filling and leave the crust behind. Not anymore.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
This recipe is wonderful for picky eaters. My husband doesn't like onions or green peppers or any chunks in his sloppy joes. I do make a few changes based on the preferences of my family. I double everything but the meat and the ketchup.

German Apple Pancake

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. My Swiss grandfather was a chef and would make this for us whenever we would visit. I've been looking for this recipe for years. I'm so glad I found it. Most times I cut this in half (except for the apples) and cook it in a smaller pan. I've also made it with oil in the batter instead of the melted butter.

Holiday Milk Punch: the New Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
I made this for women's poker night and it was a hit. It tasted so good! I made it 10 hours ahead and placed it in the freezer in a wide mouth pitcher. Right before I served it I ploped it into the blender for a second or two so that it was nice and smooth. This is different and delicious.

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
Good, easy basic recipe but if you just follow the recipe it is very bland. Needs salt, pepper, garlic, and probably a little onion powder or something.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
Cooked it for 20 min, put it in the fridge for 3 hours while the turkey cooked, and then put the marshmellows on and cooked it for another 15 minutes. It was wonderful. My 4 1/2 year old calls it the marshmellow thing and says it was his favorite dish at Thanksgiving.

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I was very disappointed with the results after reading the glowing reviews. I follow the directions exactly and found the chicken rather blah. Maybe if I had marinated the chicken in the teriyaki sauce it would have had more flavor. My husband liked it but he likes anything with bacon.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
Very nice. Held its shape well with a nice texture and taste. I added a teaspoon of vanilla and a healthy dash of nutmeg- baked for around 11 minutes. I also added some butterscotch chips in as well. Next time I'll put in more brown sugar and less white sugar.

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
I brought this to 'Girls Poker Night' and the response I got was, "Holy heck this is amazing!" Everyone asked for the recipe. I had problems with the grill so I put the mushrooms in a frying pan, covered, for 15 min on medium heat. I added some Havarti cheese and cooked for another few minutes until melted. Absolutly amazing.

Wonderful, wonderful! This was what I had been looking for. I used a ready made crust and used half blackberries and half blueberries.

Uglies

Very tasty. The leftovers made great snacks. I was hoping my picky eater would like them but he wouldn't even touch them. More for me:)

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
Very nice cookie taste. I added 1/2 teaspoon almond extract to cookie dough and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract to icing for extra touch.
