Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
These are amazing!! I took some advice from other reviewers and stuffed with half of the mixture, added tomato soup, then added the other half. I also topped with cheese 5 minutes before it was done baking. I used italian sausage for the meat, but hamburger would have been just as tasty! I will make this again and again!

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
Very delicious!!! I've always thought pumpkin seeds were just so-so until I tried this recipe! The taste is a bit like chex mix, it is out of this world!! :D

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
These were wonderful!! Even though I felt a little like I was betraying the simplicity of the recipe, I followed other reviewers' advice and used 1/4 c brown sugar and 1/2 c white sugar and also added a dash of vanilla. These are to die for! It made approximately 30 bite-sized cookies.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
This was just ok. I was expecting a burger and what came out was basically meatloaf on a bun. That said, it was fairly tasty, it was just not anything that I would consider a hamburger, and thus I was disappointed.

Stuffed French Toast II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
YUM! I wasn't sure how it would taste with the cream cheese, but I was pleasantly surprised! I only had apple jelly, so that's what I used. It tasted like a combination of a strudel and apple pie!! I didn't follow the recipe exactly for the batter, I just did what I normally do which is 4 eggs, a splash of milk, and a dash each of cinnamon and vanilla extract. I also didn't have any bread sturdier than white, so I used that. I would recommend something a little heartier, just because the white bread didn't hold up very well during the spreading and dipping, but it was still the best french toast I've ever eaten!!

Russian Green Bean and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This was an excellent soup!! The only change I made was to add minced garlic in with the onions. I added only the recommended amount of sauerkraut, but when I tried it, I wished I had put in the whole can! It was awesome!! You could easily put in more veggies, meat, whatever, and make it your own!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This was just ok. I chilled the dough overnight and had no problems rolling it out, but when the cookies baked, they lost their shapes and turned into massive unidentifiable blobs. The taste was ok, but not stellar. I will try them again and see if maybe I did something wrong....

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
I thought this sauce was absolutely delicious! I used all parmesan (shredded) since I didn't have any romano and it was perfect. My fiance thought it was boring, but what does he know? :)

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This was very good and extremely moist! I used one lb turkey and one lb beef because that's what I had. I also used shredded cheese instead of cubed and mixed in the ketchup instead of having it on top since I was afraid of burning in. Other than adding a few more spices, I left the recipe unchanged and loved the results. It did take about a half hour longer to took than the recipe stated but was well worth the wait.

Nacho Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
This was the best nacho sauce I have found. I added a small amount of mustard and a dash or two of cayenne pepper and it was fabulous. Excellent dip for soft pretzels!

Easy Peach Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
This is a recipe I have been searching for for 5 years! All I remembered about it was that it had a crisp topping that didn't have any oats in it. If you are a fruit lover, you may want to add a bit more, but for my family of topping-lovers, this was perfect. A definite keeper! Almost more delicious than should be legal!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
This is the best bread I have ever had! As I was looking for sandwich bread, I reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup as suggested by other reviewers. The result was two beautiful loaves of bread so delicious that I have gotten up in the middle of the night specifically to sneak a piece (or three!) I've been baking bread for a few years and this is by far the most delicious (and easy!) yeast bread I have come across.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
These were the best deviled eggs I have ever eaten! I've been making deviled eggs for years but never thought to put cheese and bacon in it! Genius! This was a great way to use the tons of leftover Easter eggs.

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
This bread is delicious! I actually didn't like it when it first came out of the oven, but by the time it had cooled completely, I'd eaten half the loaf myself! I doubled the recipe and it turned out beautifully and was ridiculously easy to make!

This is one of the main reasons I look forward to autumn! I make this in the crock pot and the whole house smells amazing. Nothing beats curling up with a blanket and a mug of this.

Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
This is the best ice cream ever!! I was feeling lazy so I threw in a can of blueberry pie filling and two store-bought graham cracker crusts near the end of the churning instead of making them myself.

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
This was wonderful!!! The taste was amazing and it was so easy!! Perfect, sweet, and creamy. It did freeze a little too hard to scoop, but that's no big deal. Just let it set out before you scoop it! :)

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2007
Mmmmmm!!! Soooo yummy and easy!!!! The first batch I made exactly according to the recipe and it was PERFECT. The second batch I wimped out and didn't bother baking it, since some reviewers said it was still good. Blech! I had to throw it out. Bake it!!!
