Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
AWESOME! Even the picky, non-veggy eater loved it! Followed as written, except added two small potatoes, diced, to the veggies and cooked in chicken broth instead of water, as suggested by other reviewers...was delicious!

Chicken, Rice and Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
Delicious!!! I sauteed the chicken in olive oil, fresh ground pepper and garlic salt. Used 32oz chicken broth and 2 cups water, only used 1 bouillon cube. Added a dash of sage, thymne and 1 bay leaf [as suggested by others]. Increased to 1/2 cup rice. Love the recipe! Will use again :)

Apple Butter I

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Tastes good, although very sweet, next time I am going to cut the sugar in half, as others mentioned. I did cut the cinnamon in half, turned out just right for my taste. I used granny smith and winesap apples that I got at an orchard, wonderful tart apples, even with these there was still too much sugar.

Seven Layer Dinner

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2006
Great recipe and helps me clean out the cupboards! I just used what we had on hand. Thinly sliced some red potatoes, cut baby carrots in half, instead of buttering the pan, I put some butter on top of the onions. I didn't drain the canned peas and it turned out fine, the rice was perfect. Browned ground turkey instead of the sausage. Also I used cream of mushroom, like someone else mentioned, next time I may put an extra can in. In short it was good! I liked it a lot. My husband said it was okay, but he tends to like things with a kick. May try it in the crock pot next time. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Autumn Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
Very Tasty!!! My husband and I loved the flavor, especially the beef. I agree with the other reviewer that it wasn't very "stew like". My husband and I like a little more "juice", will probably add some beef broth next time. Great recipe, definitely a keeper.
