Thai-Style Peanut Sauce with Honey

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2012
I'm not a Thai fan, and yet, this recipe is very good. I was being adventurous when I decided to make this meal and let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when it came time to sit down and eat it. It was fabulous. I will be making this again, often and soon you better believe it. Thank you Jeramyn for sharing.

Thank You, thank you, thank you. This has been our family go to meal this summer. Made this for pot lucks, birthday parties, pool parties and left overs are great if you can manage to keep any for your next meal. This recipe is so versitail and the pulled pork can be used in many different dishes if used before adding the BBQ sauce.

Spicy PBJ Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
Made my own jalapeño jelly, otherwise followed instructions to the letter. It's not like I need another hot wing recipe, but this one is unique, interesting, tasty, a dinner topic in itself and therefore a keeper. Thanks Chef John for posting yet an other keeper.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
This turned out terrific. My first time ever cooking or eating lamb. I wanted to try something new and different for Easter this year and this was it. The entire family raved on how good it turned out. I followed the advise of others and added minced garlic to the pan along with a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Yummy, yummy it tasted good and it's now in my tummy. However, either my oven tempeture is not set correctly or the time recommended is off for the size of Rack Of Lamb (2.38lbs) that I purchased. The lamb was room tempeture prior to cooking. Even so, when it was all said and done it took approx. 1hr to cook the lamb to medium well. Other than having to warm up my entire Easter meal over again twice. Everything tuned out delishiously. The Rack of Lamb was worth the wait. I'm well please. Thank you for posting. This is deffinetly a keeper and possibly the beginning of an Easter dinner tradition.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
This didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. Chicken Fried Steak is one of my favorite dishes when we eat out. I was hoping to make this dish at home and eat out less, but I don't think that will be the case. Judging from the hundreds of favoritable reviews his recipe has received I believe the fault must lie with me. However, I question the 4cups of milk required to make the gravey this recipe calls for. My gravey turned out to be more soup than gravey. Is 4 cups and 1/4 cup of flour the correct amounts? Or am I just doomed to never to learn how to make gravey?

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
This is a keeper! This Cobbler was enjoyed by all. Didn't have fresh peaches on hand, so I use canned peaches instead. I guestamted each "drained" can equaled two peaches. The Cobbler turned out fantastic, albeit, a bit sweet. I will cut down on the suger, for the topping by half, in the future. I can't wait til I try this recipe with fresh peaches from my tree. Thanks for sharing.

Classic Hash Browns

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
I enjoyed making these, and they taste great. These classic hash browns were enjoyed by the woke family. Do to the large amount of hash browns I used a kitchen towel to obsorb the extra moisture instead if paper towels. In the future however, I think I'll stick with frozen hash brown due to the amount time required to make these. Thanks for sharing, now I know how to make hash browns in a pinch.
