Soft Chocolate Cookies

These cookies are awesome! You can indeed make them as is and have some amazing cookies - hence the five stars. But I also made them with a mix of white and brown sugar, I decreased the flour by a quarter cup, increased the cocoa to one cup. I used dark chocolate cocoa. Then I made cream cheese frosting to make sandwiches. These have been voted the best sweet dessert ever at my house. :)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

I made the recipe as is only with white and dark chocolate chips and then chilled for about 30 minutes before baking. Wonderful cookies!! Everyone at work was also very pleased. :)

Breaded Pork Chops

My Mom and I made this for dinner one night and I messed up the sauce and these still came out great! (I used too much broth.) We used regular cream cheese, chives, and some garlic seasoning in place of the chive&onion cream cheese. I really enjoyed these.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

The title of this is definitely appropriate. I have yet to find a better marinade anywhere. I do admit to cutting back a bit on the soy and adding a bit more worcestershire. But that is a personal preference. This is great as is!

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

The only reason this is getting four stars instead of five is because I made it once as written and once with the suggestion to use all chocolate and increase the baking time 10 mins. This second way is outrageously better than using the cocoa.

These were very hard to get made correctly - the problems of seizing chocolate, etc. But, even after correcting those problems and getting around them, there isn't a lot of flavor here and they are difficult to eat.

Sour Cream Chocolate Frosting

This frosting is awesome!!! I made a quarter batch and was woried that it wouldn't turn out and it was lovely. I will keep this recipe on hand for anytime I may need a chocolate frosting. Yum!

Salmon Macaroni Bake

This recipe was really good. I made a velveeta sauce from scratch rather than boxed mac and cheese - this allowed me to use gluten free noodles easier. I thought the flavors would be bland, but it turned out really well. Very nice recipe. Great to also add in frozen vegetables just before putting in the oven to make it a full meal.

Real Potato Leek Soup

This recipe sounded good, but came out extremely liquidy and not very creamy. I didn't want to blend the soup so I tried mashing some of the potatoes to increase the consistency to no avail. It also lacked flavor. I added various spices and even tried adding cheddar cheese to the soup and it still lacked flavor.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

This flew past my previous favorite recipe to land squarely in first. I LOVED this recipe, in the past week and a half I have made it twice (I live alone so I've had leftovers) and am having some friends over later this week to make it for them. Absolutely great!

Salmon with Tomatoes

AWESOME! This recipe was outstanding. I used pasta (good for gluten free pasta, comes out great), sauteed garlic in olive oil because I can't get garlic oil around here, and added about a cup of diced red peppers. I will definitely add this to my collection of favorite recipes.

Chicken Chimichangas with Green Sauce

I found this recipes in an allrecipes magazine and this is by far one of my favorite recipes to make. I've used it for dinner parties, to make for friends, and just to enjoy for myself. I have a gluten intolerance and corn tortillas and I just don't do well trying to fry them like a chimichanga, so I changed the recipe a bit. I make the chicken mixture, spread it in a 9x11 pan, top it with cheddar cheese, pour the sauce over then heat it in the oven at 325-350 for about 20 minutes, then top with sour cream before serving. Yummy!

Dutch Leek Casserole

YUM! I also was a little uncertain about all the ingredients in this coming together - I had also never used leeks before. But I have just polished off the last batch I made (just yesterday) and already have a shopping list to remake it tomorrow for leftovers during the week. Awesome recipe!

This is FANTASTIC! Several comments made about the time to make it, but it took me just a bit over the time mentioned in the recipe for me to complete this recipe. Wonderful. I love it, I will definitely use this again.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

This was so easy to make and tasted fantastic! I used the leftovers, reheated them in a pan with a bit of butter and sauteed crushed garlic and had a fantastic garlic alfredo sauce. I love this recipe!
