Salmon Chowder

Banana Pound Cake With Caramel Glaze

I ended up with WAY too much batter for a bundt pan, so my oven is a little messy now...! What I ended up with was pretty tasty, though. I used chocolate chips instead of pecans because one of the people I was making it for has a nut allergy. Also, I didn't use the glaze because the cake was really sweet on its own. If I ever make this again, I think I'll use half as much brown sugar.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

I followed the recipe exactly, but it was very bland and too thick. I like a thick, rich chili, but this was almost more like a paste. I will probably make it again in the future but use some of the suggestions I've seen here.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

This was so simple and delicious. I used pork shoulder (still 3 pounds) because it was cheaper, but it still worked perfectly, and it was even better the next day. I wouldn't change a thing!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

These are fantastic! I've made them 3 or 4 times now, with different preserves, and I never have to bring any home; people always snatch them up! I wouldn't change a thing with this recipe.

Chocolate Kiss Cookies

I used butter instead of margarine, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. They came out really heavy, and I felt a little gross afterward. If you're going to use this recipe, I would recommend following it exactly the way it's written.
