Dan's Favorite Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2006
This was a wonderful sandwich. I made the following changes: I used less swiss cheese, didn't use avacodo, and added more BBQ sauce.

This was a nice side dish. I added potatoes as well. I also grilled it in a grill pan. Still came out tasting pretty good.

Aunt Bev's Glorified Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2006
These are really great sandwiches! Thanks for the post! However, they aren't for someone on a diet! I didn't have any Italian bread so I just used white bread & added a touch of oregano to the egg mixture. I used spicy brown mustard instead of Dijon mustard because I didn't have any & I cut it down to only 1 tsp.

Noodles Napoli

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2006
This was a pretty good skillet meal, wasn't exactly the easiest meal to prepare however. I made a few adjustments to it. I added about an 1/8 cup of sliced ripe olives, added a 1/8 tsp of garlic salt, & 1 tsp. of sugar (for 2 servings).

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2006
Awesome! Great change from the regular old grilled cheese sandwich. I used a small amount of garlic salt & added a small amount of Italian cheese blend along with the mozzarella cheese.

Bacon Jack Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
5 stars! Definately a keeper recipe! I used mayo and some spicy brown mustard as additional condments and my boyfriend used Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. He thought this was the best chicken sandwich recipe he'd ever tasted and since I'm not the big chicken breast on a sandwich fan but still loved it...it gets 5 stars!! Thanks for your recipe!! :-)

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
I know a lot of people rated this as very good to the best but I found the flavor over-powering. Maybe it was cooks error, I followed the recipe as was scaled down to 2 servings. I don't know what exactly it was that I didn't like or what was over-powering, but I just didn't particularly like this dish. I will not make it again. Thanks anyway for the recipe.

Chicken Pesto Paninis

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
This would have been much better if you actually have a panini grill. I wasn't impressed enough to go out and buy one so I won't be making this again.

Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

When I first looked at this recipe I thought the ingredients seemed odd to go together but the sandwiches were fantastic! My boyfriend even wanted a 2nd sandwich.

Baked Potato Soup I

When I made this I was looking for a baked potato soup that tasted like the one they serve at Outback. This is almost an exact replica! Yummy!

Gourmet Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
Great sandwich! I normally don't like chicken on my sandwiches (except thinly sliced chicken) but this was really good! I used crushed dried rosemary instead of fresh.

Individual Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
This is a great meat loaf recipe. My boyfriend who sweared he didn't like meat loaf tried it and liked it. I thought there was a bit too much of a g mustardy taste (which could of been cook's error) & we both thought it could of used a bit more ketchup on top but otherwise it's a great recipe.

Goulash Supreme

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
Quick & simple dish. I used this as a base for the goulash my mom used to make & made the following changes; I omitted the chili powder and tomato paste, & added (4 servings) 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano, 1 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt (or to taste), I tossed 1 tsp of sugar into an 8 oz can tomato sauce. I cooked the macaroni part way through then added it to the beef after browning along with the rest of the ingredients & then added the tomato sauce & simmered. I had to add a little bit of water at the end but it turned out pretty good.

Baby Carrots with Dill Butter

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
A new way to serve carrots as a side dish. I used dried dill instead of fresh which may have improved my rating of this recipe. Also, for 2 servings I added another 1/8 tsp of salt. If your looking for something new as a side dish go ahead and give this a try.
