Quick & simple dish. I used this as a base for the goulash my mom used to make & made the following changes; I omitted the chili powder and tomato paste, & added (4 servings) 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano, 1 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt (or to taste), I tossed 1 tsp of sugar into an 8 oz can tomato sauce. I cooked the macaroni part way through then added it to the beef after browning along with the rest of the ingredients & then added the tomato sauce & simmered. I had to add a little bit of water at the end but it turned out pretty good.
