About this Cook
I love to cook and bake for my family. I am always up for the challenge of a new recipe, if I have tried the dish before. I never take credit for anyones recipe and usually if I have someones recipe I look at another recipe to compare and sometimes combine the two.
My favorite things to cook
Osso Bucco, Spinach Stuffed Shells, Lasagna, Asian Pork, Pepper Steak, Casseroles
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love Thanksgiving. The smell of the turkey and stuffing in the oven all day and everyone helping out in the kitchen, it is a fun day.
My cooking triumphs
I mastered how to prepare and cook Osso Bucco it is very time consuming but definitley worthwhile.
My cooking tragedies

Slow Cooker Chicken Creole
So Yummy!!! I made this dish with left over chicken breast I had, same exact way just did in the crockpot for about 4 1/2 hours. The chicken was really tender and the seasoning was amazing! Served with some Brown Rice. Will definitely make again with this calorie content!!!

Valentine's Day Salad
This was really good! Pretty and refreshing, might add some more fruit next time, but overall a great starter recipe.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole
This casserole was very good after I made a couple of adjustments. I added fresh garlic, green onions, mushrooms, sherry and chicken broth. Next time I make it I will cook the rice first as the rice takes all the juice and it comes out pretty dry. I just cooked a couple more cans of soup according to the directions and added it. I also added some cheese in the last 5 minutes of baking.I will make it again. Thanks
