About this Cook
I am 24 and have been cooking for about 13 years. I love to cook for large crowds and dream of opening my own restaurant some day! I have 2 kids and a husband that I cook for usually on a daily basis. I get rave reviews about my cooking from dinner guests. I am also writing a family cookbook which I will pass on to my children when they get older.
My favorite things to cook
Fav. things to cook would have to be just about anything but if I had to name a few recipes they would be Jambalaya, Quesadillas, and those fried Jalapeno slices that I got the recipe for here on this site. Those are awesome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well I am starting one. I want my kids to cook so I am having them start very early. My oldest is 20 months and helps me in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to make homemade egg rolls. I always used to burn them. Also learning how to cook bacon. In my profile I said I was an experienced cook and I am but I can't for the life of me cook simple things. Things that have 50 ingredients and take 10 hours I do great but simple things are hard for me. Explain that one please!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make Monkey Bread one time and I did everything right until I put it in the oven and forgot about it!!! It was so hard we had to soak the bread out of the pan to clean it!!
