Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
This is the BEST roast chicken recipe I have tried yet! My only change is to reduce the salt, I use about 1-2 teaspoons, I found 4 too salty. I love the chicken you can get at rotisserie restaurants but it can get pretty expensive. I make this in bulk on a weekend, separate the meat from the bones (bones I use for homemade stock), and put the meat into freezer bags to pull out on a weeknight when I need it. It makes delicious sandwiches and wraps. My favorite way is to fry the chicken in a little bit of olive oil until slightly crispy, top it with a little bit of garlic mayonnaise (minced garlic mixed into plain mayonnaise) and make a pita wrap out of it. Mimics a middle eastern sandwich I really like from a restaurant I went to once.

Really Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
This sauce was very good! I deviated from the recipe a bit by adding 3 cloves of crushed garlic, substituting heavy cream for the milk (I added roughly a cup of heavy cream as the sauce tasted a bit to tangy with that much cream cheese),1/2 tsp crushed black pepper and increasing the grated parmesan cheese to 1 cup. All in all Delicious!

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I love this recipe! I've made this recipe exactly as it states so many times before and each time it turned out great! I've also added things to it such as adding 1/3 cup of oats to the flour and 1/3 cup of my sister's favorite flowery tea (Monk's Blend) along with 1/8 of a teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice powder and a few tablespoons of caramel ice cream topping. I also accidentally added the white sugar to the flour so I added an extra 1/4 cup of loosely packed brown sugar to the butter. In the end the muffins turned out great! You can't really taste the tea or the five spice powder but they give the muffins a little hint of something extra.
